Doveya needs two phones. On the first, type your name and tap Create an invite — a code appears. On the second, type a name, enter that code under Have an invite code? and tap Join. Both phones open into the app together.
A place letter stays sealed until whoever it was written for arrives where it was left. For that to work, Doveya needs Always location access on the phone the letter was left for — the check happens on that phone, and nothing about where you are is sent anywhere.
Doveya Plus is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. It covers letters left at places, the premium themes and sharing an invitation card. Everything else — letters, heartbeats, moods, widgets, the signature card and the six everyday themes — is free.
Letters, heartbeats and moods arrive as notifications, and the widgets show your partner's latest. If either has gone quiet, check that notifications are allowed in iOS Settings → Doveya, and that both phones are still paired.
Settings → Unpair ends the pair for both people and deletes what the two of you wrote — letters, place letters and heartbeats — from the server as well as from the phone. It cannot be undone, and either of you can do it.

Doveya has no analytics, no advertising and no trackers, and only the two people in a pair can see what they send each other. The full privacy policy says exactly what is stored and why.
